Enduction, a coating specialist, has been present in the International
marketplace for more than 50 years
Our coating experience and the regular contacts which we maintain
with creators, manufacturers and processors from around the
world ensure that we can offer a very wide range of high technology
products for the clothing,
footwear, leather
goods and furniture industries.
Our recognised skills have helped us to penetrate the demanding
automobile market, where
we are now actively involved in preparing the interior trim
of vehicles: dashboards, door panels, seat coverings, parcel
shelves
With its technical products,
Griffine Enduction is continuing its diversification in the
areas of medicine, hygiene, and workplace protection for personnel.
Though part of an international
group, Griffine Enduction has maintained its human scale,
and its managers are very autonomous when it comes to decision-making.

at the service of its clients in order to provide them with
quick responses which are adapted to the most specific requirements.

Griffine employs more than 300 people and its 2005 total turnover
was € 50 million.
Griffine is part of the MECASEAT group, a Belgian holding company
which has established itself in Europe in the sector of industrial
supplies for the furniture and bedding industries. MECASEAT
is one of the main European coating group, and has 4 production
sites. |
| HISTORY |

The Griffine
trademark was created in 1947
Griffine Enduction’s main business is the manufacturing
and marketing of materials consisting of a cloth textile support,
knitted or non-woven (synthetic or natural), and coated with
one or more layers of polymers (polyurethane, PVC).
These materials are intended for Griffine Enduction’s various
markets:
furniture, clothing, automobiles, leather goods, shoes, technical
markets.
Griffine Enduction has contributed to the introduction of category
M1, M2 flameproof products in both public and private organisations,
and in tertiary activities: reception halls, cinemas, restaurants,
clinics, retirement homes….
Since the invention of this product, it has become the standard
in fireproof materials.
BOEING-FEU, the flagship product for the last 25 years, provides
Griffine with its position as the leading brand in the French
market for the furnishings for organisations. |

COMMITMENT |

Our quality
system is oriented towards customer satisfaction. We have been
certified ISO 9001 and EAQF since 1996.
In 2002, we were awarded
the version 2000 ISO 9001 and ISOTS 16949 certifications for
our automobile product range.
Griffine Enduction also has the Qualifal label awarded by the
CTBA for furnishing products and the OEKO-TEX certificate for
PU-coated cotton and polyester fabrics, certifying that undesirable
substances are not contained in these products.
RECOGNISED SERVICE QUALITY
The aesthetic and mechanical characteristics
of the products and the service quality guaranteed by Griffine
Enduction, are a benchmark for all fabric transformers, be they
craftsmen or industrial manufacturers.
The laboratory research, the permanent contact with the designers
and Griffin Enduction’s strong presence at the major professional
trade fairs…all these aspects play a part in the company’s
dynamism and contribute to the permanent improvements to the
recognised quality of its products. |
| RESEARCH
& DEVELOPMENT |

With
more than 30 members of staff, the Griffine Enduction Laboratory’s
main role is to design, develop and improve products in accordance
to customer requirements and requests.
The teams work in four sectors (Structure, Finish, Automobile
and Quality control), seconded by a polyvalent group of advanced
research. The teams develop products which satisfy the customer
demands in both technical and aesthetic terms in all areas where
Griffine Enduction has a presence (Furnishings, Leather goods,
Clothing, Footwear, Automobile and Technical).
Thanks to our permanent contacts with University Laboratories
and professional technical organisations, we have a great amount
of data on fabrics and materials, implemented to create new
products. We can guarantee our customers the best possible performance
in terms of respect for the different regulations and standards.We
also work with reputed designers to integrate upstream the market
trends in our collections. We use DTP and CAD-CAM techniques
to offer our customer the greatest number of finishes possible.
Finally, concerned with environmental safety, we are always
looking for new raw materials to reduce the impact of our products
on the environment and we privilege recycling in our manufacturing
procedures. |
